BuyerRecon – Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the BuyerRecon service.
1. Permitted Use
The Service may be used solely for lawful business purposes connected with organisation-level visitor intelligence, intent analysis, lead qualification, sales operations, marketing operations, analytics, and related commercial workflows, in accordance with the Terms of Service and applicable law.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Using the Service to unlawfully identify, track, profile, or target natural persons, or to infer sensitive characteristics in a way that violates applicable law.
- Deploying BuyerRecon on any website or digital property without implementing any notices, consent controls, or other privacy measures required by applicable law.
- Using lead data for outreach that breaches PECR or equivalent laws.
- Unauthorised access, reverse engineering, or interference with the Service.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Service data or functionality without prior written consent.
- Automated scraping or data extraction beyond permitted API use.
- Distribution of malware, spam, or harmful content via the Service.
- Misrepresentation of identity or fraudulent use.
- Circumvention of security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
- Any use that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Rules may differ depending on the channel used and whether the recipient is a company, a named business contact, a sole trader, or another individual.
3. Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, account suspension, or termination. We may report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
